Yesterday I showed you my nephew's birthday Sound Card. Today it's my nieces turn. She just turned 6 a few weeks ago and this is the card I made. It is another Sound Card from Stampin' Up! and once again David and I had a blast recording it. Honestly, I don't know who enjoys these more - the kids, or us!
My niece likes bugs, and worms, and things that make me say, "ick, yuck, and gross". I admire her for that! So the stamp set, Bugs and Kisses was a perfect choice for her birthday card. The idea for using the treat cup for a magnifying glass is not mine. I don't know who came up with it but it sure is a cute idea!
The designer paper is a Sale-a-bration selection this year. It is called Ice Cream Parlor (don't you just love the name?) and comes with a pack of Quick Accents (not seen here). I love the bright colors and patterns!
Here is a close up of the ladybug and worm. The ladybug is covered with Crystal Effects to give it that glossy glow. The worm is covered in Dazzling Diamond Glitter because like most little girls, my niece loves glitter! And I added 2 little pearls for its eyes - a true girly girl worm.
